02 chassis ground

hey everyone i just upgrade my headunit to pioneer 780mp and i noticed a alot of sub feedack when i mesed around wit ground wire comin from headunit and i found touching the ground wire to the rca output on headunit stopped all the feeback but i no leaving it attached to rca preamp outputs cant be good so i wanted to know where is a good place to ground headunit in 02 explorer xls

You could ground it on one of the screws that holds in the brackets that holds the radio.
 






tried it not good ground any other ideas if not i might have to bite the bullet and take to my local car audio shop
 






Drill a hole. C'mon, its not that hard to find some metal back there. Make a hole for it and ground it out. If you don't mind spending the money, then go ahead and go to the audio shop.
 






You could probably run a length of 1/0 AWG from your HU to your battery for the price of a normal shop fee lol.

Just scratch around a bit, scrape some bare metal then ground there.. repeat if necessary.
