Well as you may know I picked one up a couple of days ago and i want it to blow. I have been looking at some superchargers for the 4.6 liter mustang but none looked good to me. sweet! looks good to me, but do some research before you write any checks. you may wanna think about your driveline too, before you go pumping 400 ponies down the throat of a stock tranny.....

Can the aluminium block 4.6 block be supercharged? I know the 03 Mustang Cobra 4.6 was changed to the iron block because the aluminium Cobra block from 1996 to 2001 could not handle being blown. Most of the superchargers for the mustang 4.6 are made for the GT, which uses a iron block. I heard of a few that put blowers on a 1996 to 2001 Cobras. I have not heard of any problems though.

I used to have a 03 cobra till it was stolen and totaled and the guy who stole died stealing my baby. It was a 03 sonic blue convertible and I had lojack and all that nonsense on it. I also had about $13k in parts on it too. I bought it back from the insurance company for $1,ooo good deal I thought. I got a check from the insurance company for $33k and sold the parts for 9k. I loved that thing. But I am looking at trannys for it. I cant find any I had a STI I had a PPG trans in it efing nice till I totaled it racing some little ZO6 vette. But any links to any good gears converters etc or already built trans I need to put this enlistment money to good use lol
