- 2002 Explorer XLT
I tried searching the forum for this but didn't find anything quite like the issue I'm having. Sorry if this has already been covered.
I've got a 2002 Ford Explorer that I bought recently and the heat seems to work fine except when I turn the vent dial to off the heater doesn't turn completely off. It basically stays on whatever speed I had it set on (usually low) and continues to blow. If I turn the truck off and then start it up again, the fan has stopped. It won't start back up until I choose a vent position.
It's almost like the OFF setting on the dial doesn't work. Has anyone ran into anything like this before? Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks
