Hello to all, newbe here, glad I found this group. I have a very sick 4.0 shoc. actually its my daughters, Its been a great vehicle for her, until yesterday. Its been running great, no noises ( believe me, if there is the slightest new squeak she is on the phone or at my door for me to check it out) , so while she's driving she goes to accelerate at a yield sign and it has no power, she gives it a bit more and hears a rattle, when she steps on the breaks theres nothing (no power). but the motor is still running. She had it towed to my home . I started it and around 1500 or so RPM it would start to clatter, and sounded like it was coming from the rear of the intake. I did a compression test and #4 has no compression and #5 is also coming up with a fault code. That's where I'm at so far. now I'll be scouring the forums to see if I can find any others that have had a similiar issue. Thank you all in advance for any advice . Peter.
