I just noticed about 1 or 2" down from the top of my radiator over flow tank are two lines with the words "Cold Level". No "Hot Level" marks else where on the tank.

Has any one else noticed this on their 02? Seems like these marks should be HOT LEVEL? I checked the manual but it didn't help. Maybe the tank is labelled wrong?

On my other cars the HOT LEVEL is near the top of the over flow tank and the cold level is near the bottom.

It's not an overflow tank. It's pressurized when hot, and is essentially a remote radiator top. Sometimes called an expansion tank.

My '02 tank says the same thing as yours. You shouldn't take the cap off when it's hot and the level doesn't change, at least not much when it's hot (I think). So no hot level.

youre suppose to check the level of the coolant when the car is cold and on level ground...
