02 explorer xls manual trans 4door. rare or not

Looking to buy this explorer.4x2 xls 4door with 5speed manual. It is in mint cond with 133k miles. I can buy it for 4500.00 . Is this a good price and just how rare is this explorer. Thanks

it is rare, but being a base model with seemingly no options it seems a tad over priced. Given the rarity if such a model you may be stuck paying that much if it is what you really want though

I myself have never seen a manual trans in a 02 4door explorer before. I would use it to drive from nashville to louisville assembly plant twice a week and thought the manual might get better gas mileage.

It certainly is rare, considering it has a manual and it's a 2-door. And it only has 2 wheel drive. I would probably go in with an offer of $4000 just because it's only 2 wheel drive.
