Hello,

My 02 Sport is getting a error code saying that the EVP Sensor has low voltage. Error code I wrote down is p1400, but looking around on this site and Yahoo/Google, nothing pops up, so I COULD be wrong on the error code.

Reset the CEL and it comes right back. Read the code several times, and it was always the same.

Sport runs great, and mileage is good(especially after I changed the air filter).

The DPFE was replaces (aftermarket) about 10 -15k ago.

Currently has 127K miles.

Thnks.

In P1400 the "1" indicates the code is manufacturer specific and not a generic code. My Chilton's manual is showing an EGR system fault. An EVP sensor signal voltage fault is a P1401 according to my book. Make sure the electric connectors are on properly and if that doesn't make the CEL shut off then get a meter and I'll give you the correct measurements for trouble shooting if you don't have a Haynes manual.
