What size is the factory TB and it looks like it is all one piece, am I right?
Thanks, ordering one off ebay to try a swap on my '98 SOHC.

Fredness - I believe it's 65MM. All one pc? What do you mean by this?

From the pictures, it looks like the '02-'03 throttle body is part of the upper intake as one big piece.

The '04 to '07 intake is two piece, the KKM picture shows it clearly...

Cool! Getta find a newer version!

When did Ford start the "Drive by Wire" on the SOHC?

I guess this is the 'bread box' style i've heard about? First time to see this funny looking thing. Guess it's better cuss that's about the time the HP rating went up on the 4.0 SOHC from 205 to 210.

Not to mention the torque band will look like a kitchen table with those long runners and large plenum!

No one else?

According to the 2002 - 2004 Ford Service Manual (which I downloaded here http://www.fordcds.com/ and it's buggy as hell) both the V6 and V8 Explorers have bolt on TBs. I'd cut and paste the images for you if I could figure out how. Apparently the repair manual runs in a program that doesn't support Windows cut and paste function?? Anyway, looks just like the KKM pic you posted.
