Will a 5 speed tranny out a 02 2wd 3.0 ranger fit a 94 explorer 4x4 with a 4.0 motor and will the t case match up. I might be getting a free 94 explorer with bad A4LD and can get a free 02 (I think) ranger with a 3.0 and tranny.
Guy i might be getting explorer from said it would go in reverse but not foward. he bought a junkyard tranny and said that one did not work at all. but someone told me this guy did not know what he was doing. is there anything he could have messed up to mkae the junkyard tranny not work. I know i am asking alot but want to make sure this is worth working on.
