02 X Stalls When Put In Reverse

When I First Start It Up It Is Fine Then I Put It Into Reverse It Stalls, It Might Do It 2 Or Three Times In A Day, Then It Might Go A Week Without Doing It, Can Any One Tell Whats Happening?

Sounds like the low/rear servo is sticking and is applying to much line pressure. Sometimes the seals around the servo starts leaking. The next time you put it into gear, try putting it into low and see if it stalls. If it does you found the problem.

There are a number of TSBs for powertrain control module recalibration, but mainly on 4.6 engines. I find that it's normally a pretty good place to start on odd problems such as yours.
