03 Explorer keeps blowing fuse under hood

My '03 Explorer (103k miles) keeps blowing a fuse under the hood making my vehicle die in the middle of the road. We found that it's the 2nd fuse (b/c I have had to replace it several times) and it will run but I never know when or where it will die!!! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

What number fuse? Not the amperage but the location number, see owners manual. Have you used an power adapter such as one to charge cellphone, GPS, or maybe a power adapter strip? Sometimes when plugging them in and you plug it in crocked it'll blow a fuse. Also a bad adapter will blow fuse also. I had that happen to me on my 03.
