So I inherited this 2003 Explorer from a family member, who only ran it on E85 since 2006. When they bought it, they had issues with it running regular unleaded fuel. It would stall shortly after filling up and gave problems starting if unleaded was kept in the tank. Once the unleaded is drained and E85 was put back in, the Explorer ran fine.
I know the last gen had a flex fuel sensor that could go bad, but does the 3rd gen too? If not what could be the issue?
