I think I am gonna try it today. but like RocketFoot I am also scared about messing something up.

What's the price per gallon, Dave?

The price was $2.69 a gallon. I filled it up. So I'll let you know how it works. Funny thing is gas in Pittsburgh is about 10 cents cheaper than here in Uniontown.

Yeah, let me know how it runs and keep an eye on your full tank range...see if it decreases or not...

My mpg did decline. I will never buy that stuff again. I'm not sure what the mpg was but it seems to be around 11mpg.

I don't know about never. There are places in the US that sell E85 for < $1.50 even with a 40% loss in MPG (wost case) it still cheaper.

Ofcours it is also cleaner and better for our economy.

The problem is not many places have it. And as people posted here it ranges in price greatly. For $1.50 I would USE it considering gas here in Michigan is around $3.00 a gallon (down now to $2.719)....problem is the places that do offer are not near me and the one sI checked with charge $3.999 a gallon...LOL

Plus if you were ALWAYS going to use E85 you would have your ECU tuned to handle it specifically...then you would gain better milage and performance.

E85 is by no means the ANSWER...but will help corn producing areas lower their dependence on oil and help reduce the cost of driving some.

I guess I shouldn't have said never cause if it is $1.50 a gallon I might buy it. But at just 20 cents less than gas, its not worth it.
