2003 V8 XLT
Hello, I'm new to this forum. Original owner of a 2003 v8 4x4 XLT with 64,000miles. Upon deceleration with foot off brake I can feel a bump, vibration, or slight rumble as the vehicle comes to a stop. You can feel it more on a smooth road. I cannot find the correct search engine so please help me with ideas if you can. Vehicle is great when accelerating, no issues. Thanks, JIM.

Did you ever figure out the problem?? I am having the same issue now, let me know...

I'm having a simliar problem i get a clunk when deceleration i have heard many mixed answers for this problem saying the slip yoke is bad the rear end is bad and the solenoid pack in the transmission is bad so im gonna get my solenoid pack replaced and put new fluid and filter in the tranny and see howt he vehicle is after that hopefully it will fix my problem because it seems to be a downshifting problem

Did replacing the solenoid pack correct the problem? I have the same problem in my 03 with 95K on it. I just started recently.
