04 Explorer BUCKING then stalling???

Hi, I recently purchased a very well kept 04 explorer and did a full lube, oil ,filter, battery and plug replacement,... 2 months after having the truck at red lights or ideling the truck begins to buck a little then battery light comes on and she stalls out!! She starts right back up but nobody can recreate the problem or tell me why this is happening!! Battery, alternator and starter all tested good!! PLEASE HELP!! Thanks

I assume that whoever you took the Explorer to checked to see if there were any stored computer malfunction codes? If not I would have that tested for free at an Autozone, O'Reillys etc.

Just to eliminate a known problem I would check this:

If that's not the issue then you need to start testing the various sensors and components which could be causing the problem. If you search for TPS, IAC, MAF using the Google search box near the top of each page you will find a ton of info.

The first place I took it too saw NO ERRORS at all which was very strange and none stored in memory either, I just stopped by a buddy and had him hook it up and the only error the truck is reading is a "fuel rail pressure sensor" so I will start there and hopefully that clears the problem. It only happens after about 190-200 miles are driven and its very intermittent and only happens once or twice, then wont reoccur for weeks. Thank you for your help and suggestions, I really appreciate it.
