04 mountaineer keeps trying to turn over but won't! Help!

I have a 04 mountaineer 4.6...yesterday everything was fine.. Ran a few errands, truck started fine all day. Went to get in and start her up this morning and it just kept cranking and cranking but wouldn't turn over and fire up?

What is going on here? I have no idea?

Can you clarify? Is the engine rotating or not when the key is placed in the start position?

You could try to reset the fuel cut off switch if you were bumped in the street?or check the fuel pump fuse! Could spray your map sensor and intake too! My ex would do that ,crank but won't start ,it would start after awhile, after I sprayed Map sensor with map sensor spray !or maybe it was my fuel pump going bad all along...well hope it give you some direction,let us know!
