thought id update. this thing is a pain in the butt. i bought a 05 mountaineer to donate its newly rebuilt tranny to the explorer. looks like its never even been pulled, the bolts on the exhaust are rusted, undamaged and one is now stripped from me trying to get it off. the previous owner gave me what sort of looks like an invoice for the work done to her trans. could have been for her other ford. im just feeling that way cause it doesnt seem like i can get it out without taking the exhaust off and this exhaust has definitely never been taken off. not recently not nearly as recently as the time frame she had it serviced. i think her friend has a garage and pulled it for her to save some money.
Have you guys come across any good online resources i can refer to while taking these in and out? im flat broke after getting the 2 cars and some more tools. i wont be able to purchase any books till next week at the earliest.
