- 05 Ford Explorer Ltd 4.0l
Hi All! Thanks for any help!
I have a '05 Explorer Limited, 4.0l with about 133,345 miles on it.
When I'm driving about 2-3mph, I'll hear a "tick...tick...tick" sound, seems like it's coming from the front, diver's side. At highway speeds, when straight it's rather normal, but around any curves, it has a quite audible rumble.
I've replaced the left, driver's wheel bearing and the front shock assembly on both side, with no change.
Was looking at replacing the front CV Axle Assemblies next. Sound logical?
