05 explorer rattle questions

All of a sudden I've started to notice like a rattle coming from the back of the explorer. Not sure if its the glass rattling, or something else. Doesnt sound like its external.

I've even sat in back while wife drives trying to see if I can locate it. If I get a chance I'll try to do a video while driving (her of course) so you guys can hear the sound.

Any common issues for this type of thing?

ours rattles a little too, . . although it was rear ended which might be a cause of ours.
Try Silicon spray on the rubber seals around the hatch and window.

The rear plastic pannel that attaches to the glass on the rear hatch was rattling on my explorer so I took it off and its quieter now. Try removing yours, its simply attached by plastic clips.

One of my rear headrest plastic frames has broken/shattered as well and makes noises that I need to fix.

Check door strikers, latches, and lock rods.

Check spare tire too, make sure it is tight.

Mine was same problem as Hitchingmike, but I just cut several small 1 inch sections of rubber hose (like 1/4 in vacuum line), then cut them down their length & installed them over the edge of the panel where it touches the door.
