I have an '05 Explorer with the base AM/FM/Single CD. I just installed an Alpine HU (9827). The Metra adapter from my '05 Escape fit fine but there was a second square plug with two wires (purple and gray?) coming out of it. What is this second plug used for? Sat radio? Changer? The new HU works just fine as does the rest of the car.
