05 V6 into 99 Sport

Will all the parts from my 99 SOHC V6 bolt straight on to the engine, or will I need to modify stuff?

nope, your good to go si. you might want to swap valve covers as well, i believe they are different. just make sure you swap everything, harnesses as well.

the guy is selling it with a tranny for 500 CAD, I'm trying to get him to split them. I don't need another tranny. But as long as it'll work, that's probably gonna save me 100's of dollars and hours...

i don't think the tranny would work anyway. they are different electronically. that and yes, i don't think you need another trains kicking around. so what are you going to do with the SOHC you where building? when i was fixing the red headed stepchild i had to get a motor from a wrecker (lucky for me a friend worked there) it cost me $450, and he delivered it to me (cause he's a nice guy). you could always just resell the trans if it came to it.

If I had the money I'd probably get them both, re-sell the tranny to recover my costs. I'll eventually rebuild the one I stripped and have it moth balled incase anything happens to the new engine I guess.
