06’ Exploder 4.0L 4WD. Codes and no reverse.

I have two codes showing, not necessarily related. The major issue is ‘No reverse’ which the P0720 is related. Drives fine no issues, reversed up a small inclined driveway and started slipping then, nothing just rev’d to 2-3000 rpm no drive. I understand the 5r55S trannys have common problems. This is 175k original.

Any thoughts, observations, predictions would be appreciated.

My 06 4.0 has had a “weak” reverse for 5 years. I try to only idle in reverse, or very gentle throttle. If I give it more it slips and shudders.
