06 EB Explorer - I am back

Hey,

Just wanted to say hello, and thank everyone for all their help a few years back when I had my 94 explorer XLT.

My wife convinced me to get an 06 EB in White, and so far, I am very happy with the decision.

At the dealer they told me E85 is a go in an 06, is this not the case?

i would hope so as well and Ford should consider a diesel too... i would have gotten a diesel possibly and while we don't seem to have E85 around here, the option would be nice

According to Ford's website, the F150 and a couple of other vehicles will use E85, but the not Explorer. Not the 2006 model or the 2007 model. I also called Ford Cust. Service and they confirmed this. They told me any Ford which uses flex fuel will have a sticker on the gas cap stating so.

This is kind of irritating because there are two plants manufacturing E85 in my area and several stations carry it for about .70 less a gallon then gas.
