06 wheel alignment

06 XLT xplorer,right front tire is wearing i bit on the inside,checked every thing for wear none anywhere.loosend the 2 bolts on the upper A frame to slide the top of the wheel out, there is close to a 1/2 inch adjustment to move the wheel in and out, it was already out as far as it will go,put a gauge on it and it looks like its out by 5 deg at least and the bolts are at the end of the slots,only remedy i see is to cut the slots longer, is it time to get the torch out or am i missing something.

Inside tire wear usually indicates negative camber or toe out. Only passenger tire?

Drivers = LEFT. Regardless, you need have your alignment checked. IIRC, Sears does it free with a print out. GL
