06 xls stock radio cd player, change to 08 nav unit.

I wanted to see if I could and what was involved in changing out a stock cd player with a newer 08 nav unit. I have the 2006 xls with stock cd radio, I want to put a newer 08 stock navigation unit in it's place. Any help on which unit to look for and what parts would be needed to make the unit work in my xls.

You'd probably just need the diagram for the pins and a GPS antenna. Shouldn't be too hard, unless the new Nav units lock if removed from a vehicle.

Nope never did it never got confirmation of what all needed to be done.
