07 ranger engine into a 04 st(both 4.0 and sohc)?

well as the title states..i have a complete 07 ranger with the 4.0 sohc motor..will this engine work in a 04 st.

Don't take this as gospel but I'd say if it was stripped down to the long block it would, using the Trac externals. There are threads here about using the Mustang motor as a swap.
