08 explorer remove roof rack

Hi there does anybody know how to remove the roof rack on an 08 explorer and do you think it looks good removed.

Should just be bolted down, you may need to remove the headliner.

Also you will need to get the holes welded shut, and then re-paint the roof.

thanks for the help but that sounds like to much work. think i will leave stock for now but do you know where i can either get some chrome to make the roof rack like the limited explorer or where i could buy a limited roof rack replacement. thanks
