The parking brake pedal goes all the way down to floor board and it barely holds the vehicle. Just did rear brakes, new drum and shoes. I pre-adjusted shoes to drums so it's not the adjustment. This problem pre-existed prior to brake job. Almost seems as if the cable had stretched. This is a 2008 Ranger 2 wheel drive with the 9" drums. There are no adjusters for the cable as far as I can see. It seems to have the same type of parking brake pedal mechanism as my 03 Explorer. I just need to "tighten" it up slightly. On my 92 1st gen, you could adjust the equalizer. So how to adjust on the 08 Ranger. Thanks in advance.
