I got my Ex at 17,000 miles ( April 2002 ), it just hit
27,000. If any body cares here are my thoughts.
Good: Looks, Fell for the silver on black as soon as I saw it. Quite comfortable on long drives. Pretty respectable acceleration considering it's size.
Features, Auto-locks, auto-4wd, auto-headlights, nice stuff. The heater is amazing. I am roasting in no time.
Bad: Ford needs to build a better display on the stock hu. IAC's can stand a bit of improvement too. Though not terrible, MPG does leave a bit to be desire. Paint is simply aweful, a few too many press dents. ( dents formed wile the steel is beeing stamped )
The AC is not quite cold enough. There is WAY too many others running around.
All in all I am VERY pleased. For the most part trouble and hassle free. Glad I bought it. I would infact recommend it to others, and would definately consider buying another. But that doesn't matter cause this one and I are gonna hit the 100,000 mile club going on here.
