12"Sony X-plöd?

Hi everybody,

Sorry, ask this one some time ago but forget your answers!?!?!

I want to mount my 12" Sony sub in a handmade stealthbox!
Does anyone mounted a 12" sub in a stealthbox so far???

i dont think the Vas will allow for a 12" sub.
not enough airspace inside the stealthbox. it will sound like crap and probably damage the sub.
just build a regular box and put it in the cargo area or under the rear seat.

Hi leenjen,

I often need the whole cargo area so their is no place in the cargo area or under the rear seat.

I think their is enough airspace for this sub.
Sony said the sub needs 28 liter volume netto-so if I take the whole space I have about 26 liter or so!I spoked to some lokal car audio dealer and they said the 2 or 3 liters doesn`t really matter!

also a 12 inch sub may have to much coil and not fit at all in a boxback there. heck the whole cubbyhole is about that size and it isnt close to being square or circular
