Hey all. I want to order the 12 Volt Solutions Remote Start Kit for my 2013 FPIU but they don't appear to list a police model for anything other than 2016+. Would the standard explorer 2011-2015 kit work for my 2013 FPIU? I couldn't see why not since there isn't any difference in the ignition system other than the lack of an immobilizer chip in the key.

Mainly want to add this kit because the standard remote won't reach more than 5-10 feet to the vehicle, if it reaches at all. If it reaches then I can remote start it but I'm sick of needing to stand next to my car to remote start it. Not very "remote" at that point! I already installed the hood switch and remote start is enabled in FORscan btw, and I have tried numerous antennas to hook up to the RKE/TPMS module with no luck, so I'm splurging with the 12V solutions kit.

Also, their support isn't picking up the phone or getting back to me via email, so figured I'd scour the forums for advice haha.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE!
Someone finally got back to me from the company. They said that the 2011-2015 module will work with the 2013 police model. See the attached image for the email I was sent.
(Transcript in case the image disappears in 5 years: "Yes Sir, you would just need the standard Explorer kit and you will connect the host to A on the harness and then the programming will be the same as you did with the normal interceptors and release on blue and turn the ignition to the run position and the LED will turn off and then flash blue, then turn the vehicle off and test the remote start. You can use Jamie10 while we are not running any sales to help save 10% off the total as well.")

Personally was not a fan of 12volt solutions; had many issues with them on my 2017. This thread might be useful to you Remote Start / Entry Antenna Location for getting your remote start working. The 2016+ system is different than the 2011-2015 but I followed this video for getting my remote start working.
