12V Ok for a charge?

I have an option on my trickle charger of 6v or 12v. I currently have it on 12v for the night. Is this ok?

depends on what battery your charging if it's for your X yes its ok your system is 12v it shouldn't hurt a thing

yes it is on my X and it is an interstate battery. I know I got to get a knew one. It is not the alt. but I am trying to get as much life out of it as I can. Last change, doubt the turn out will be any different.
