2014 Explorer Limited
So looking in the owners manual I was trying to figure out the maintenance schedule for my new Explorer Limited with the 3.5 V6.

Here is what I gathered but couldnt find anything for the differentials/transfer case?

Oil - 5k-10k miles depending on OLM
Antifreeze - 5yr/100K
Transmission - 150k (really, 150k????)

Brake fluid - ? (30k?)
Power Steering fluid - ? (30k?)
Front/Rear Differential - ? (100k?)
Transfer Case - ? (100k?)

all values in miles :)

Perhaps they are taken into account as part of the axle configuration. If so, the units with synthetic fluid and light-duty trucks equipped with Ford-design axles are lubricated for life; do not check or change fluid unless a leak is suspected, service is required or the assembly has been submerged in water.

The above is from page 576 of your Owner's Guide. I don't worry about it since I take mine to the dealership for all required services and it is a 4 year lease.

I have all my vehicles on the BG protection plan. I believe that the long drain intervals in the owner manual are meant for those who want to keep their vehicles for only 100k-150k miles or so. I typically need my vehicles to last much longer.
