Just hit this on Thursday. I bought my Ex with just over 60k and I've put 90k on it myself in 6 1/2 years. I'm pretty impressed with how reliable it has been, it is my first Ford and I was never a Ford fan at all before I got it. I love my Ex and it may end up with another 150k on it before it's all said and done....

218k miles on my 4.0 SOHC... original engine, trans, ect... just did spark plugs, wires & coil pack along with a bottle of seafoam in the gas tank the other night.... i should be good to go for quite awhile like you, i have owned my Ex for 6yrs, ive put a little over 110k on it myself, We'll see 300k+ easily together haha.

Just hit the 130's with mine. I had every intention of not putting another penny into it, and just running it into the ground until last week when I had this weird moment with it(long story) and decided I'm going to keep her and address all the issues going on. It's all routine wear and tear that basically I have nobody to blame for but myself for not staying on top of everything. She's been a very good girl overall, and I believe it's worth the time, money, and effort to bring her up to snuff mechanically.
These really are pretty good trucks.

Your 5.0 is just getting broke in,I have 181,000 on mine and it runs too good.I have to do cruise control all the time to avoid a ticket.

My aunt had 354,1xx on her's when someone decided to run a red light.
