16 inch wheels w/o modifications?

I am wondering if anyone has experience putting 16' from a ranger onto an explorer w/o making modifications to body and/or speedometer?
I am wanting to put som 245/75/16's on in lieu of the 235/70/15 stock rims.

any advice?

the rims dont really matter actually, what makes the difference is the size of tire around them. but i think that the wheels/tires from the ranger should fit fine.

The '97 Ex. I parted out had factory 16"s on it. It also had 4.10's for gearing.So the 16" wheels should not be an issue.
