The police seats are so un-usable that I already swapped the fronts to full power, but I haven't connected their heat & A/C yet. '11-19 Explorers are very rare in JYs around me, and the one I took the front seats from was already missing its rears. But I found another (with different upholstery) so I snagged its 2nd row including all the floor bracketry. There were parts & debris all over the seats that had left a lot of dark patches. I couldn't tell if they were grease or mildew or dirt or... But I figured it would all come out, so I stripped them.

Mine didn't come with floor mats, so I grabbed those, too.

...and the carpet.

After a lot of scrubbing with cream hand cleaner & a stiff brush, and passing through the washing machine, they look almost perfect and have no odor at all.

It's overcast today, so the carpet isn't dry enough yet to install. And I'm thinking about going back for a headliner from another junker that doesn't have the ticket light hole...

I put them back together yesterday.

I found more zip-ties & loose hardware (should be the LAST now) under the last floor reinforcement plate, but removing the non-tumble seats went smoothly, as did installing these.

Rather than cut the carpet or the styrofoam support (the cover had been cut before I got the PIU), I just put it on top of the carpet. The cargo floor sits OK, but I may build a shorter support that would bolt to the floor without resting on the carpet.
