Anyone out there had any experience with a 16x10 wheel with 255x70x16 tires. Due to lack of immediate funds for new 31s and just got the X with new 255s, I really would like to run a 10" wheel now, that will work with my future planned mods, a couple of people have said an 8" is as wide as you can go, but need more info. I already have a set of 32's but everyones opinion is that they won't work without several modifications, i.e. fender cutting that I don't want to do, I don't mind trimming the plastic but don't want to cut metal. Any insight to which way to go would be greatly appreciated. I am changing the wheels either way and hope someone has some helpful info  on which way to go. Thanks

Id say go 15x8.
16" wheels cost more
16" tires cost more
16" tires have less sidewall
16" tires are heavier
16x10 will be very hard to find in 5x4.5 bolt pattern
bigger rims look cool but if could do it all over i would have done 15"

16x10 would match up better with 305/70 or 315/75
:D

heh i actually found one that would fit..... youd need a 4"+ lift and bigger tires though.

anyone else running a 16x10, I get my wheels wholesale :D so the cost difference in a set of 15s and 16s is only $15-20, so that doesn't help me with my decision. Option 2 would be to run the 32's I already have with a 15x8 wheel, but everyone's opinion is that they won't clear without a suspension lift or a B/L, I really don't want to do a B/L and can't sink the change into a suspension lift right now :( Any other opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
