175 amp mega fuse

New to this forum guys, but really need help getting this dern 175 amp mega fuse installed on my 98 ford explorer, eddie bauer editions. The last one popped as soon as I hooked the battery back up. What am I doing wrong?

If youre popping a 175amp mega fuse.... You have a mega short somewhere. Have you done any work to the truck lately?


I'd check the battery cables down to the starter.

As to you blowing fuses, you've got a short somewhere. Have someone turn off all the lights and connect another one (if you feel like blowing another fuse) you should see a small spark

Not me...I'm in a good mood today. Its just REALLY annoying to hit "new posts" and see 27 posts from Tony all saying "Welcome to the site". At least change it up a bit.
