It's probably not legal to do this in your state of Cali however here is one idea. I considered cutting one out of a big 4"x10" slab of oak and the use a router and in the exposed side of it engrave "Twin Oaks Bumper Company" Like I said, It's probably not legal in California.

I just opened mine and the struts have gone bad. I did just now finish off a yellow jacket nest. I caught them while they were sleeping.
