Yeah baby, I have air conditioning in my 1993 Ex now!
Bought this truck as a "family hauler" and did a bunch of work to the front end, some body rust repair, and finally decided to tackle A/C.
Got the system cleaned, compressor and orifice tube and the accumulator replaced, then evacuated and charged.
A/C seems to work, EXCEPT it works a lot better once the thermostat opens.
I do not have vacuum leaks -- checked with propane.
At this point, the only thing I can think of is starting to wrap the heater hoses and the accumulator in some insulating foam, but I don't know if that would make much of a difference. I also think i might change the cabin air filter, if I can find it
The vents respond to me changing the levers from "Panel" to "Max a/c" and "hot" to "cold" appropriately, so my guess is all those actuators are working.
