I thought I would share this with you. I have a 1993 Explorer Sport that needed a back glass weather strip. I could not find the OEM part anywhere but in poking around I found one for an 07 Escape that the "core" part number was the same. It was YL8Z-7842084-AA. The 7842084 is the key part and in hind sight maybe a larger vehicle with a back glass weather strip would have been better. As it turned out the one got fit perfectly till the last about eight inches that it was short. So, we cut about eight inches off the old weather-strip (in a good spot), used the existing metal piece from the old weather-strip to mate the end along with the "new" mating piece on the other end and it worked perfectly!
