1993 Explorer, Suspension Problems

I have a 1992, 2 weel drive Ford Explorer.

I know I need to currently fix all of my shocks since I'm feeling everything on the road. My wife said Firestone told her the Radius Arm Bushings (Control Arms) needed to be fixed. Last month I noticed play in the steering weel such as shaking when stoping. And as of this week the shaking has been more frequent in the weel. Also sometimes when I roll over a speed bump in my aparment calmplex I will sometimes hear a clunk from under the supension system. I was set to get both the Shocks & Radius Arm Bushings fixed coming up this weekend. But can the Bushings cause my Explorer to shake that bad? And also can they cause that sometimes clunking noise over a speed bump? And I have noticed the weel wants to pull to the right while stopping, funny but I just got the alignment done!

Or is there another problem that could cause an effect such as the king pins? Or something else?

If anyone has experienced this problem before in their past and has knowledge of what I am speaking upon, please leave your imput & advice.

RA bushing for sure. My 94 acted the exact same way.

those bushings can cause all of the above
