1993 Ford Explore...How do I tell if Radiator is goin?

I dont know how his was but mine was great! Tell me something, would a truck overheat if its on the highway with a blown headgasket?

I still havent figured out why it overheats but 215 miles on a less than a half tank was amazing. Went from Jersey City In NorthJersey To CapeMay/Wildwood In SouthJersey, Used alil bit more than a half tank going there but Less going back doing the same speed. I thought going down south you use less gas, but i guess not

If nothing else changed, it could be because the truck is lighter with less gas. I know, it sounds ridiculous...

My RV got MUCH better mileage on the way home from Wildwood last weekend than I got going there, even AFTER we picked up a boat (about 330 lbs). Mostly because my wife was driving home...
