I have a 94 eplorer that seems to vibrate in highwy gear. It doesn't do this up to 55mph or when it down shifts to pass. I have checked for leaks and replaced hoses going to tranny cooler. I topped of fluid and that is when it started. Recently it has started to have a rattle at rear of vehicle when shifted into reverse but don't know if that is the exhaust. Does anyone have any ideas as to what i might be dealing with?

U didn't actually top it off did you? Your only supposed to check the transmission fluid when hot in park with the engine running it should be on one of the x marks... there may be a overflow but its to release pressure really not so much fluid. You could drop the pan and change the filter in the trans within a couple hours and replace with fresh fluid.

I had this issue. It's a misfire. Mine was bad injectors.

There's not a whole lot to narrow done the search of what's wrong. Does it vibrate with the tcc locked? Is it like a vibration felt through the floor or like the engine is missing under load.
