1994 Explorer will not idle when it's cold.

We have a 94 Expolorer with a 4.0 v6. When cold it will not idle. I have read all of the computer codes and does not show any. Can anyone help?

Welcome to this forum! Check the idle air control solenoid, mass air flow sensor, and for vacuum leaks.

A bad or disconnected ECT (engine coolant temperature) or IAT (intake air temperature) sensor could also cause this issue. They control the signal the gets fed to the IAC valve from the PCM but normally, normally they will cause a code to show, unless the bulb to the CEL (check engine light) is burned out.
