1994 Explorer wont start

The truck turns over just fine and I have Fuel pressure at the Fuel rail of 35 to 39 psi it just wont Start. When I pull a spark plug they appear to be Dry so I believe the injectors are not fireing.

1994 Explorer will not start

Ok have done some more checking and what I have found is there is no power to the Injectors. No CEL when I turn the key On. Checked all the fuses and they are all good. Where do the Injectors get there Power from?? Help me I need to get my baby back on the road. Thanks

PCM (which illuminates the CEL KOEO) and injectors share the same power supply. Start by checking the EEC relay and fuse.

A wiring diagram (even the one in Hayne's or Chiltons) would be helpful is seeing how this is wired in.

I have just finished changeing wires, plugs and air filter on a 94 X EB that has sat for 4 years. It is in excellent condition. There is about a half tank of gas in it that i would like to drain before starting. I do not know if the truck will fire up with the old fuel in it but i would rather drain it out and test it in a lawnmower rather than the X.

What is the easiest way to drain the gas? The truck at this time does not have a battery in her, so pumping through the fuel lines is not an option. Also I would rather not drop the tank.

Am I asking too much.

John.

When I've needed to do this, I've used one of those cheap fuel siphon pumps you can get at the parts stores. Disconnect the filler hose, put the pump pickup in the tank, start the siphon, then wait (and wait, and wait) until the tank is empty enough to work with.

Thanks Mr. shorty
You have confirmed my plan of action.
John.
