1994 Ford Ranger A/C Install Help Needed

I purchased 1994 a/c parts for the ranger and they did not fit. It seems that the 1994 ranger was a transitional year for the a/c? The correct A/C blower case looks like it comes from a 1993.

My question is, for the parts needed can I use the parts from the same year Explorer? Everything seems fairly the same. The electrical connection to the compressor and the receiver seem like it will be my biggest challenge. The condenser online shows its the same part number for ranger and explorer.

1994 had a mid-year transition from R-12 to R-134a freon. I didn't think stuff such as the blower motor & housing would've changed with this though (other than the R-134a versions had insulation wrapped around the outside).

As far as I know, 1993/1994 Explorer stuff should be the same ('94 Explorers however also incurred the same mid-year transition to R-134a).
