1994 trans prob? help

truck sat all night, was cold and wet this morning, started truck up(fine), was in a hurry so i put it in drive and stepped on the gas right away(hesitated slightly), so i laid off the gas(heard this weird gringing, wizzing noise, wasnt that loud but i heard it comin from front), never heard it before, i stepped on the gas again (hesitated slightly and felt like somethin was slipping?) stepped on gas a little harder and it seemed fine, beat on it as usual and everthing seems fine. ANYONE HEARD THIS BEFORE? is it something on its way out? should it be checked right away or is it probably nothin, hope its not the trans, had it replaced 30 000kms ago, warranty ran out after 25 000km, hope i dont have to pay out my ass again, any thoughts of what i should do, get it serviced, maybe the problem is somethin else? PLZ HELP? thanx

check you fluid level. sounds like the fluid is low causing to grinding noise same thing happened to me and god the transmission modulator replaced because it mal###tioned and started squirting tranny fluid into the engine which was burning it up. for me the grinding noise only happened when trying to take off from a stop. hope this helps. by the way the replacement was about 100 dollars and then every thing is still fine 10000 miles later.
