I purchased a 1995 Ford Explorer last week with the door ajar and airbag light illuminated.
I fixed the door ajar by cleaning door the latches. I found a blown 10a fuse for the airbag in the power distribution box and replaced it. Airbag light was blinking a code 12 prior to replacing the fuse. It now blinks a code 52 which I believe means that the airbag lost power at one time, obviously it did. I've found some information on forums that describe resetting the SRS computer by jumpering across 2 terminals on a connector. I found a 3 pin connector under the dash behind the passanger side kick plate. The harness is yellow so it should be part of the SRS.
The connector is grey and the left wire is green and yellow. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct connector to jumper?
