i have looked into all the ways of lifting the explorer and was wondering besides doing a body lift to get 3'' and AAL and T/T to get a total of 5inches can i buy a ford ranger suspension lift kit and have it proffesionally installed to fit my 1995 4dr EB 4x4 explorer or will it be easy enough for me to do

I am not sure if a ranger suspension lift will fit your Explorer, but if it does I don't know that the ranger lift would be much cheaper than buying the Trailmaster or Superlift 4" kit that is made for your Explorer. For the rear you can do an SOA which gives you ~5.5" of lift.

I haven't ever really worked on a 95+ Explorer so I don't know a whole lot about how hard it is to install a lift. If you know a decent amount about working on trucks and have the tools, then I'd say try to do it yourself, but like I said I've never worked on one to know the difficulty of it. It would be ATLEAST $300 in labor to do the install, if you got a good deal. I'd personally rather do it myself and buy the needed tools, just so I'd be able to work on it in the future if something broke, etc.
